Royal Wedding Dress Lace
The Telegraph has recently posted an article about the Sophie Hallette factory, which produced the lace used by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen for the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress in April 2011. It’s an interesting read and fascinating to see the history of the factory as well as how many designers use their lace. Writer Phong Luu did a great job of merging the history of the factory with its present-day functions. Enjoy!
